Your text stays private

The core detector experience is designed to process text in the browser. Submitted text for basic scans is not transmitted to a remote server for persistent storage. We do not keep the content of your scans by default.

What we may collect

  • Usage analytics (aggregated): page views, scans started/completed, approximate text length ranges, conversion events. We avoid storing the actual submitted text in analytics.
  • Account data (if you create an account or join a waitlist): email address and related preferences you provide.
  • Technical logs: standard server logs (IP, user agent, timestamps) for security and reliability, retained for a limited period.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell your text content.
  • We do not use submitted text to train language models.
  • We do not require an account for basic client-side scans.

Cookies and local storage

We may use local storage only for essential preferences. Essential cookies or similar mechanisms may be used for security and reliability.
